Client gallery - Create a pricing list

How to create products, build a pricing list with them and assign it to a gallery, in 3 steps.

Written by Félix Mezcua

With pricing lists you offer your clients different rates depending on the product, the type of client or how many photos they buy. You can create as many pricing lists as you need and assign the right one to each gallery.

It takes 3 steps:

  1. Create the products, with their categories.

  2. Create the pricing list and add the products.

  3. Assign the pricing list to a gallery.

Step 1: create the products

Control panel / sidebar / Client Galleries / Products / Products.

Click New product and choose the type: Digital files (photos or videos to download), Prints or Photographic services (retouching, events…).

In the Product step, set the lab, the category (for example “Digital”), the title (for example “Wedding photos”), an optional reference code and a short description. If your website is in several languages, fill in the texts in each language.

In the Prices step, choose how the price is calculated. Note: once saved, the price type can’t be changed.

  • Unit: one price per unit, with an optional discount.

  • By quantity, linear: the price of every unit depends on the order total. Example: up to 5 photos, €3; up to 10, €2.50; up to 20, €2.25. With 9 photos, each one costs €2.50.

  • By quantity, tiered: each tier has its own price. Example: the first 5 photos free, the next 10 at €2, the following 10 at €1.80. With 18 photos the client pays 5 at €0, 10 at €2 and 3 at €1.80.

  • By options: one price for each combination of size and licence.

In every case there’s a simulator to check the result. In the Images step you can upload a photo of the product (optional, but it helps your clients), and under Uses you can see which pricing lists it’s used in.

Step 2: create the pricing list

Control panel / sidebar / Client Galleries / Pricing lists.

Click New pricing list, enter a name that helps you recognise it (for example “Weddings 2027”) and click Save.

Then click Add, find the products or packs (you can filter by category or lab), select them and click Confirm. Use the 3 dots next to each product to edit its prices or remove it from the list.

Step 3: assign the pricing list to a gallery

Control panel / sidebar / Client Galleries / Galleries.

When you create a sales gallery, choose the pricing list in the Prices field.

For an existing gallery, click the pencil or its name, go to the Sell tab and change the pricing list. From the pricing list itself, the Galleries in use tab shows which galleries you’re using it in.
