Email: which account your website’s emails are sent from

Choose whether your website’s emails are sent from the system, from an account on your Arcadina domain or from your own account. Gmail can’t be used.

In Control panel / Settings / eMail you choose the address used to send the emails your website sends to your clients (gallery notices, orders, forms…).

  • System (noreply@arcadina.info): this is the default option and there’s nothing to set up.

  • An account on your Arcadina domain: if your domain and email accounts are with us, you pick one of your accounts without entering any settings.

  • Your own account with another provider: emails are sent from your address. You need your account’s sending (SMTP) details: server, username and password.

Gmail and Google Workspace can’t be used

Google no longer allows sending email from external applications with a username and password.

If you want emails to be sent from your address and you use Gmail today, you can get Arcadina email accounts, which do allow sending. They have an extra cost (ask us) and, in exchange, you can stop paying for Google’s accounts.
