With the Public client gallery (your online store) your studio stays open 24 hours a day: visitors to your website can buy prints, digital files, services or courses automatically. Here’s how to activate and set it up in 6 steps.
Many steps are the same as for the private Client gallery: if you’ve already set that up, you only need steps 1 and 2.
Step 1: activate the online store
With the Business plan, the online store is already in your website menu. You’ll find it in:
Control panel / sidebar / General / Menu.
Green icons mean the item is published. If you don’t want it to appear in the main menu, click the icon to turn it off.
Step 2: customise the store page
Click the pencil or the item title to edit it. Use the ES, EN and IT buttons to choose the language of the text you’re editing.
Editor: the content shown at the top of the page, such as title, text and images.
General: the item name and its address (URL).
SEO: the title and description shown by search engines.
Featured image: the image shown when you share the page on social media.
To see how the store looks on your website, click the eye icon in the top bar of the panel.
Screenshot protection: galleries can show a notice saying they are protected against screenshots; if a visitor takes one, access is blocked. Turn it on in Client Galleries / Settings / General; you can change the notice text and its position (top or footer) in the Texts tab.
Step 3: review the settings
Control panel / sidebar / Client Galleries / Settings.
Here you decide how your galleries look, the currency, shipping methods and zones, shipping costs and many other sales options.
Steps 4, 5 and 6: products, payments and watermarks
These are the same as for the private Client gallery, because products, payment methods and watermarks are shared by both:
Products and categories (Client Galleries / Products): what you sell and at what price.
Payment methods (Sales / Payment methods): how clients pay you, for example with PayPal or Stripe.
Watermarks (General / Watermarks): they protect your photos until the client has paid for them.
