You can create invoices for your orders from the Invoices section under Sales in your management panel. You can also create them directly from the Sessions page in Booking.
This Help Center article explains the steps to create invoices from the Sessions page.
First, let's review the settings you need before you start invoicing and how to create invoices through the Invoices section.
Settings before creating your first invoices
Before creating your first invoices, configure the following settings:
Numbering.
Tax settings.
Personalization.
You will find these options at:
Management panel / sidebar / Sales / Settings / Invoice adjustments.
For a detailed explanation of the options in these tabs, see the following Help Center article:
Creating invoices through the Invoices section
In your management panel, go to:
Management panel / sidebar / Sales / Invoices.
This is where you can create and manage your invoices. You will find two buttons:
New simplified invoice. For products or services within the maximum amount configured for simplified invoices in your invoice settings.
New ordinary invoice. For products or services of any amount, with the required customer details.
The following articles explain each process in detail:
Other sections of your panel where you can create invoices
In addition to the Invoices and Sessions sections, you can also create invoices directly from your orders. The following article explains how:
Create invoices from the main Booking Sessions section
There are several ways to create invoices in your management panel. Here, we will look at the options available in the Sessions section of Booking.
Go to:
Management panel / sidebar / Booking / Sessions.
Select the session you want to invoice.
On the session's information page, locate the button for invoicing the session at the top of the screen.
If your invoice settings are incomplete, the panel will display a warning asking you to configure them first. Use the settings button in the warning to go to that section, complete the setup, and return to the session.
Once your settings are ready, open the session's invoicing window. If the customer does not have all the details required for an ordinary invoice, a warning will appear.
The window also lets you choose between creating a draft and issuing an invoice. A simplified invoice may be available depending on the amount and the maximum configured in your invoice settings.
Complete the customer's details
To add any missing customer information, click the link in the warning shown in the invoicing window.
Complete the missing fields on the customer details screen and save your changes. Return to the session and open the invoicing window again.
Once the required customer information is complete, the warning will no longer appear.
Review the available invoicing options, including the invoice series, date, items or payments to invoice, and whether you are creating a draft or issuing the invoice. Check the applicable amounts and taxes before confirming.
When everything is correct, click Continue to complete the selected action. The panel will confirm the result.
To check the invoice or draft you have created, go to:
Management panel / sidebar / Sales / Invoices.
You will find the invoice created from the Booking session in this list. Open it to review its details.
Duplicate an invoice created from a session
If you need to create a new invoice similar to one you have already created for a session, you can duplicate it to reuse its information.
Go to:
Management panel / sidebar / Sales / Invoices.
Find the session invoice you want to use as a starting point, click the three-dot button at the end of its row, and select Duplicate.
In the window that opens, you can select a customer or leave it unassigned and add one later while editing the draft.
The new invoice is managed as a manual invoice and is not linked to the original Booking reservation. The duplicate window reminds you of this.
Before issuing the new invoice, review the customer details, date, line items, amounts, and taxes to adapt them to the new transaction.
Duplicating the invoice does not create a new Booking reservation. If you need to record another session, create it separately in Booking.
For the complete process, see the duplication section in the following article:
